We have designed a bow mounted trolling motor bracket to accommodate a Minn Kota trolling motor to reap the benefits of a bow mounted installation while still being close enough to the rider to allow easy stow/deploy of the motor meaning there is no need for the extra cost/weight and complications of an auto-deploy system.
We have designed this bracket to be closer to the rider than other brand, so even a shorter person can still reach forward to stow the motor, companies will always tell you that you can reach the deploy lever easy but don't mention that you have to reach much further forward to retrieve the minn kota to the stow position.
We recommend the Minn Kota Terrova series, but will also work with the models in the Minn Kota lineup.
The bracket is made from 6mm aluminium incorporating many structural folds, a folded hook shape that grabs onto the side rub rail and also bolted onto 3 separate plane surfaces on the upper hull to give the ultimate in strength. Trolling motors are heavy so we've made sure our bracket is up to the task.
To offset having the weight of the trolling motor on the LH side, we have designed a battery mounting solution which can take a large 100ah Lithium Ion Phosphate battery mounted on the RH side inside the hull, tucked away where you never have to worry about it.
